Dev Log: Coping Card Battles

Recent work has centred on compiling and analysing data from the latest playtest. The group included a wide range of abilities, so the dataset is complex, but it’s already helping to shape the development roadmap and highlight areas for bug fixing. This analysis is also feeding into a journal article, in collaboration with De Montfort University, looking at learning approaches and AR engagement.

AR features drew a lot of interest during testing, which has led to plans for more character interaction – potentially even outside the main gameplay.

On the business side, conversations are ongoing with new organisations and there are a few future projects in the early planning stages. There’s also some exploration of new applications for the technology and possible academic funding routes.

A video is in the works to showcase the AR card game, focusing on how users interact with both the game and the augmented world.
